Poor Perception
Perception is Not What One Sees
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread’ (1 Cor 11:23)
Jesus was about to change the order of things in that dispensation that were practiced by the Passover to an unknown thing called communion.
There was going to be a shifting and everything was going to be changed.
In Mathew 14:29 Jesus said, “Come And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus”. Did Peter have courage to leap into the larger stream of water with new consciousness or was he going to remain in the boat, living in the experience he had perceived through the years before Jesus entered his life? Once he stepped into the unfamiliar current a new experience will be granted and a greater perception than the pass was about to happen. There was going to be a shifting in his life that was going to rock his world, (yes even literally). But Peter had exhausted living on the boat. Now… once you jump there is no turning back. When Jesus said “This is my body” everything shifted.
If we want to get new perceptions than we must be willing to progress through difficult places in the journey and be willing to forsake. Don’t let your thinking be solely based on your experience. People who are with you and can’t see the ocean of the Spirit, them at times you must forsake.
These are brand new waters of the new dimension. If people are not with you then you will need to go alone. Go alone because God is pulling you out! “ Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified”. (Rom 8:30) NKJ. God is surfacing a new thing out of an old thing. You are getting positioned for a paradigm change. A life changing shift that will look nothing like the place you once were. There are some places that are coming that are superior to the pass ones.
Jesus wants you know the Jesus you have not yet known. Your perception of your pass has clouded your perception of His presence.
We have generated through our past experiences an assessment of our pass. In time you will realize that our perspective is not all that we see.
